CCDKM -- E-Resources
CCDKM is an umbrella organization for EIGHT ‘clusters’ of activity and initiative all related to the broad area of ‘youth and media’.
Youth media producers: young people making their own media content
Television: broadcast television, programming and regulation, DIY (do-it-yourself) video
Radio: mainstream, community, web, multicultural, specialist, niche
Print: comics, magazines, self publishing
New media: internet, blogs, on-line social networking, mobile phones, computer games
Performing arts: community and classical theatre, folklore, dance, performance, puppets
Media literacy: media education, consumer culture, advertising, subcultures
Volunteer contributions: research work and commentary
Each of the above represents one grouping of CCDKM’s partners (community groups, NGOs, philanthropic organizations, researchers, students). Part of our aim at the Center is ‘knowledge management’, compiling e-resources relevant to each cluster in order to provide an on-line open
source bibliography of research material.
