TELECENTRE MANAGEMENT

TELECENTRE MANAGEMENTTelecentre.org Academy offers skills development programs to support grassroots-level actors involved in creating new and inclusive economies in developing countries worldwide. The lead organizations that steer the Academy at a global level are the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and the telecentre.org Foundation.

In 2007, the MICT has set up the first 20 telecentres in Thailand, and today, there are over 2.300 telecentres in the country. CCDKM developed the curriculum for Thaitelecentre.org and conducts extensive research on training needs of telecentre managers and operators. CCDKM trainers also organize and deliver trainings on topics related to ICT4D. 100.000 Thai marginalized women and girls have been trained on digital literacy and entrepreneurship skills.
