As part of the launch of “Women Make the News – Thailand”, UNESCO Bangkok, in partnership with Australian Aid, is organizing a free training open to Thai female professionals in the fields of
– Media, ICT and Innovation
– Environment and Climate Change
– Cultures and Histories of ASEAN countries
Participants will learn how to respond effectively in media interviews and advocate for their organisations.
The training is part of the launch of “Women Make the News Thailand: an online database of Thai female experts for journalists.
The project aims to increase women’s voices in media and advocate for gender equality by providing journalists with a tool they can use to source female experts in their reports.
