ADVANCING ASEAN COMMUNITY, ENSURING FOOD SECURITY
Access to information is crucial for making informed decisions. In order to ensure sustainable food security for healthy and safe consumers in ASEAN, farmers in the region need to be connected and be able to share their knowledge, experience and skills.
Representatives from ASEAN farming and rural communities, cooperatives, government, intergovernment and UN agencies, the corporate sector, academia, civil society and non-government organizations will meet in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from 20-23 January to share their expertise, initiatives and good practices on the use of ICT to advance knowledge in sustainable farming technologies.
