MEDIA LITERACYMedia literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate and create media. CCDKM promotes media and information literacy (MIL) in rural and marginalized communities in Thailand, enabling them to critically understand the complex messages they receive from television, radio, Internet, social media, newspapers, magazines, books, billboards, video games, music and all other forms of media. The Research Center has developed in partnership with UNESCO Bangkok, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Thai PBS, universities in Thailand and grassroots organizations, MILThailand, the first web portal and online academy on MIL for school drop outs, parents, teachers, community leaders and media professionals.
