The Agritech using ICT training is being held under the Girls in ICT Day program for Thailand jointly with Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (Thailand) and Food and Agriculture Organization from 25-26 April 2019 at FAO, Bangkok together with several partners. This program aims to build skills of more than 40 girls and young women. The description of the work to be carried out under this quotation is mentioned above.
Brief Overview:
Under the International Girls in ICT Day event, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), Thailand and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) conducts capacity building programmes aimed at imparting digital skills in various thematic areas to young women and girls, in Thailand. One of the key thematic area under this program is on enhancing digital skills of young women and girls in agriculture. This training is organized in collaboration with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and with support from partners including (NBTC), UNESCO, DTAC, CCKDM, NECTEC, CISCO and GIC (AIT).
